The Survivors Trust recognises the significance of managing workplace harassment with a robust yet sensitive approach which ensures all parties involved are listened to. Any adverse findings following the investigation should be dealt with rigorously, with recommendations for change implemented. This requires an all-round approach to maintaining not only the well-being of their employees but also installing a sense of trust and safety within the workplace.

Our Sexual harassment, prevention & awareness training will develop your staff’s knowledge and understanding of harassment and bullying in the workplace and in particular the impact this can have on people’s lives.  It will also encourage them to consider the options and possibilities to change workplace culture and the need for them to demonstrate a positive role model approach for teams to follow.

Learning outcomes:

  • Prevalence of sexual harassment and bullying
  • Definitions of key terms
  • A trauma-informed approach to supporting teams
  • Understanding the impact of sexual harassment
  • Barriers to reporting inappropriate behaviour
  • How to sensitively handle disclosures
  • Managing triggers & behaviours
  • Signposting to appropriate, specialist support services
